What Are Towers in Path of Exile 2?
Towers are ancient constructs scattered across Wraeclast that serve as Path of Exile 2 Currency powerful support mechanisms during your journey. When activated, a Tower provides area-wide buffs, summons allies, or triggers environmental effects to help turn the tide of battle in your favor.

Towers aren’t just passive additions — they are interactive and strategic. You’ll often find them in mini-encounters, hidden side paths, or integrated into the main campaign and endgame systems. Each Tower can be enhanced using Tablet pieces, giving it unique powers or improving existing effects.

What Are Tablets?
Tablets are modular upgrade pieces you collect throughout your adventures. Think of them as a customizable set of affixes that alter Tower behavior. Tablets come in different types:

Tablet of Fortitude: Grants increased defense and healing to Tower effects.

Tablet of Flame: Adds fire-based damage or fire-themed effects.

Tablet of Binding: Causes nearby enemies to become immobilized when Towers activate.

Tablet of Reflection: Grants mirage or clone-based buffs to the player when near a Tower.

Tablet of Echoes: Causes effects triggered by the Tower to repeat or chain.

Tablet of Unmaking: Resets Tower configuration in an area.

Each Tower can hold up to 3 Tablets, and combining Tablets in strategic ways can lead to powerful synergies. For instance, combining Flame and Echoes may cause fire novas to chain multiple times, while Fortitude plus Binding may create a defensive bastion that roots enemies in place.

Where To Find Towers and Tablets
Towers begin appearing during Act 2 and become more common in the mid-to-late acts and especially during endgame mapping. You'll find them in:

Side Zones: Look for suspicious ruins or elevated platforms.

Map Boss Arenas: Many have hidden or time-sensitive Towers.

Tablets of Power Events: These mini-encounters spawn multiple Towers you must defend or activate under pressure.

Vendor NPCs: Some campaign NPCs offer Tablets or Tower upgrades in exchange for resources.

Each region in Path of Exile 2 may favor different Tower types. For example, coastal regions favor elemental Tablets, while desert ruins tend to cheap POE 2 Exalted Orbs have Tablets that boost trap mechanics or mirage effects.
