Natural gas leak detection
Detection method
Simple manual detection method
Smell: Natural gas itself is colorless and odorless, but in order to detect leaks, substances with strong pungent odors are usually added. Once you smell this pungent smell, you may feel dizzy, nausea, and other discomforts, which means there may be a natural gas leak.
Soap water inspection: Apply soapy water or detergent water to the natural gas pipeline. If there is a leak in the pipeline, the soapy water will immediately bubble or swell, which can be used to determine the location of the leak.
