Jagex is a video gaming studio. Jagex is perhaps best known for OSRS GP its enormous Runescape collection, but many may not know that the company has been expanding its services to encompass the realm of publishing and even tabletop gaming.
Jagex recently announced that it had entered into a contract with indie designer Outlier Games to publish the first game of the studio, the spaceship management Roguelike This Means Warp. It's scheduled to be released on PC via Steam Early Access on March 17.
With replayability and multiplayer in mind, This Means Warp encourages players to be strategic and cooperate in chaotic, real-time space battles. adopt shrewd strategies as they guide their ship through the hostile, procedurally created universe.
Inspiring itself from roguelikes like FTL and games for parties like Overcooked, this Means Warp sees players control crew members aboard the ship, managing various devices, shooting weapons and conducting repairs, and ultimately mapping out a route through the tangled space.
