The World of Warcraft movie has seen an unintended setback. CraveOnline met with Spider-Man director Sam Raimi at Comic-Con last week, where the filmmaker announced that he is not working on the film that is based on Blizzard's online massively multiplayer role-playing game because of his involvement in Oz: The Great and Powerful. Raimi is now known as director of the World of Warcraft film director.

"Actually they don't want me to direct World of Warcraft anymore, because when I took the Oz job , they had shift to buy WoTLK Classic Gold a new director," Raimi said. "They were required to make the game."
